About the Author

Dorothy was born in a village in Bradford W Yorkshire.UK. She was living in London when she met Geoffrey Ralph Wood. A quick engagement followed and in 1973, 10 months later aged 38yrs she married Geoff when he was aged 46yrs.

She qualified in Mental and General Nursing After moving to S
Wales 1972 and marrying Geoff she became a Social Worker and subsequently obtained the Certificate of Qualification in Social Work.

Interests have been: music- Beethoven to The Beatles, singing, mostly in church choirs – walking – reading – psychology – humour and gardening. She has written poems, letters and articles for books, local magazines, and press.
With a Methodist background, by a positive public step of faith
aged fifteen years, Dorothy began to know a life-long experience of the Love and reality of God.
For most of her life she has been involved in Christian Worship and Service; also taking interest in other faiths and a wide spectrum of religious belief and experience.
