Dorothy was born in a village in Bradford W Yorkshire.UK. She was living in London when she met Geoffrey Ralph Wood. A quick engagement followed and in 1973, 10 months later aged 38yrs she married Geoff when he was aged 46yrs.

Geoff, a simple farmer’s son was born 1926 in deep countryside in Hatfield Herts. UK. One of 4 children. His life was tragically disrupted aged 4yrs when his parents plus siblings split. Many changes of address and schools followed – mainly in Newport S Wales. He refused to attend school soon after his tenth birthday because of disruptive school changes.
